A new batch of Management Students began their foray at the ISBS campus with the induction program which began on 10th July 2012 and ended on 25th July 2012.
The induction programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Neeraj Singh, Head-Sales, Maharashtra & Goa Circle, Vodafone. The occasion was graced by the Chairperson, IGI, Dr. Tarita Shankar, Group Director IGI, Prof. Chetan Wakalkar, Director ISBS, Dr. Renu Bhargava, Director Corporate Relations, IGI, Ms Madhuri Sathe, Directors from the Indira Group, Faculty members, staff and students of ISBS.
The objective of the Induction was to orient the students to the culture at ISBS along with the stress on creating awareness about developing an all encompassing personality.
The students participated in initiatives such as Mentoring Sessions by Faculty, training for Management skill by Mr. Mr. Rohit Singh, Introduction to Management by Mr. Bijoy Guha, Yoga and physical training by Dr. Unkule, Personality Development by Ms. Divya Jetly, Introduction to Careers by Team Ozone and Psychometric Test by Dr. Jasmeet Kaur Lamba .
Students were induced into the National Entrepreneurship Network and Entrepreneur Cell at ISBS by initiating a unique activity where in each group of students was given Rs. 100/- and they were expected to carry out an enterprising assignment which would help them understand the vagaries of business and generate interest in entrepreneurial venture as a career option. The revenue generated is used as seed capital for students to launch an enterprising venture within the campus in the duration of their PGDM course.
The finale was Outdoor Management Training which took the students to mother nature to imbibe the management skill such as team building and leadership.
